Infrastructure
Our infrastructure is meticulously engineered to comply with the rigorous RDSO Schedule of Technical Requirements (STR), ensuring that every component—from Elastic Rail Clips (ERC) to Thick Web Switches—meets the uncompromising safety standards of the Indian Railways. Our facility integrates specialized manufacturing lines, including Semi automated high-capacity forging units for ERC & Joggled Fish Plate ,Fish Plates, high-precision stamping and forming presses for Metal Liners, and dedicated rubber mixing and vulcanizing plants for CGRSP. To support the complex geometry of Thick Web Switches, we utilize advanced CNC machining centers and heavy-duty assembly jigs, while our Glued Insulated Rail Joints are produced in a climate-controlled environment featuring grit-blasting and high-bond-strength application systems.
Quality Control
Quality is non-negotiable at Avdesh Tracks. We house state-of-the-art laboratory facilities that comply with RDSO STR norms.
Testing Capabilities
Our in-house labs are equipped with the following advanced machinery
Rheometer: Analyzes the flow and deformation of materials to determine the curing characteristics and viscosity of rubber compounds.
TGA (Thermogravimetric Analyzer): Measures weight changes in a material as a function of temperature to determine composition and thermal stability.
Muffle Furnace: Used for high-temperature applications such as loss-on-ignition tests and determining the ash content of polymer samples.
Ozone Test Chamber: Evaluates the resistance of rubber or polymers to ozone cracking, simulating long-term environmental exposure.
[12:46, 31/3/2026] Neeraj Thakur Railway Parts: Computerized Tensile Testing Machine: Evaluates the breaking point, elongation, and ultimate tensile strength of materials with high-precision digital data logging.
Motorized & Computerized Load Compression Machines: Measures the load-bearing capacity and deformation behavior of components under specific pressure limits.
Impact Testing Machine: Determines the energy absorbed by a material during fracture, assessing its toughness and durability against sudden shocks.
Abrasion Tester: Measures the resistance of a surface to wear and friction, essential for components prone to mechanical rubbing.
Vertical Rebound Tester: Assesses the resilience and elasticity of rubber materials by measuring the rebound height of a falling plunger.
Ageing Oven (with Time & Temp. Recorder): Simulates long-term heat exposure to study the degradation of material properties over time.
Compression Set Apparatus: Measures the ability of rubber to return to its original thickness after prolonged compressive stress at specific temperatures.
Tension Set Apparatus: Evaluates the residual deformation of a specimen after being stretched and released.
Durability Test Machine: Conducts repetitive stress cycles on finished products to ensure long-term structural integrity and performance life.
Hardness Tester (Shore “A”): Provides a standardized measurement of the hardness of soft plastics and vulcanized rubber.
Million Mega-Ohm Meter: Used for testing high-value resistance and insulation properties of non-conductive materials.
Standard Resistance Box: Provides highly accurate, switchable resistance values for calibrating electrical measurement instruments.
Yerzley Oscillograph: Measures the mechanical properties of rubber under compression or shear, specifically focusing on resilience and damping.
Computerized Secant Stiffness: Calculates the stiffness of a material at a specific point on the stress-strain curve for precise engineering applications.
Digital Weighing Balance: Provides high-precision mass measurement for accurate chemical compounding and density checks.
Data Logger: Automatically monitors and records environmental or mechanical parameters over time for comprehensive quality audits.
Dumbbell Cutter: Precision tool used to prepare standardized “dumbbell” shaped specimens for accurate tensile testing.
GO-NO GO Gauges Set: Used for rapid, high-volume dimensional inspection to ensure parts meet strict tolerance limits.
Twist Counter: Determines the number of twists in yarns or cords to ensure structural consistency in reinforced materials.
